Meiji MX9000 Series Polarising
The Meiji MX9000 is a research specification Japanese trinocular transmitted illumination polarising microscope with a build quality the equal of microscopes of a significantly greater price.
Large stable microscope stand with graduated coaxial coarse and fine focus mechanism, and a rack and pinion focusing condenser. The Kohler illumination system has precentred 30 watt quartz halogen lighting.
The trinocular head has a high transmission prism system and one eye tube is slotted for orientation of eyepiece cross hairs.
•Extra bright, extra large interference figures are produced by a new concept Bernard lens.
•Strain free optics throughout.
•Ball bearing rotating circular stage, 150 mm diameter, graduated with vernier scales and stage clips.
•Quadruple objective turret with one fixed and three centring objective apertures x4, x10, x40 & x60 SM plan strain free objectives. An additional McCrone dispersion objective would be required for asbestos identification.
•Sliding analyser, and graduated rotating swing in/out polariser.

Meiji MX9400 Transmitted/Incident polarising
The MX9400 has the same stand as the ML9000, but in addition has an incident Kohler illumination system, allowing both transmitted and incident polarising microscopy.
